Erkin Koray - Elektronik Turkuler (Turkey, 1974)

One of my favourite records...The best album of the turkish progressive rock pioneer Erkin Koray...I will always see him as a soul brother of Frank Zappa. He's still alive and still weird. For more information and amazing record covers, please go to http://progressive.homestead.com/ERKIN_entry.html

To learn more about the Turkish progressive music in the 60's and 70's, please visit http://psychevanhetfolk.homestead.com/TurkishProgressive.html

...and you can download the record from

Enjoy!

This record is one of my favorites too... I only wish I had discovered it years ago!

I agree this is his best overall record, but I think Estaribim (from Erkin Koray 2) is the best song. Cranked up loud, that one kills me!

Just now getting into: 3 Hür-el. But I don't know which the best records are yet..
